"I have had the pleasure of working with Claire over the past six months, developing and delivering an ambitious transformative health and wellbeing strategy. During this time Claire has proven to be fantastic role model who consistently demonstrates her commitment and expertise within employee Health and Wellbeing initiatives. Claire’s commitment, dedication and attention to detail has proven invaluable in delivering improved outcomes for our workforce.
The ability to connect with a wide range of stakeholders, understand challenges, and subsequently tailor effective interventions has been invaluable in fostering a positive wellbeing culture. Through the delivery of team workshops, sharing of resources and the facilitation of group wellbeing sessions, Claire has consistently supported innovative health and wellbeing initiatives that truly resonate with our workforce. Claire’s efforts seen have significantly contributed towards achieving measurable improvements in staff engagement and overall wellbeing and has created a personal legacy and positive environment for the team to build upon in terms of having a sustainable and effective future offer that supports the health and wellbeing of employees.
I would highly recommend Claire if you were seeking a highly motivated, dedicated and highly skilled Health and Wellbeing professional who works in an inclusive and collaborative spirit. Claire's contributions have had a significant positive impact, and I have no doubt Claire will continue to make significant contributions to organisations and individuals in the future."
I worked with Claire on the Dorset Integrated Care System’s Enhanced Staff Health & Wellbeing Programme from September 2021 to February 2023. This programme was launched to support healthcare staff throughout the Covid-19 Pandemic.
Claire acted as Service Manager for the Health, Wellbeing and Psychological Resilience Hub as well as the project manager for the Inclusive Health and Wellbeing Project and Menopause Support. Her responsibilities included:
-
Providing operational leadership in establishing the new resilience hub.
-
Mapping system-wide support, identifying each organisation’s needs, and coordinating with existing clinical services (e.g. psychiatric services, MSK)
-
Facilitating cross-system collaboration, building relationships with 3 NHS Trusts, 2 Councils, Commissioning Group, General Practice and Care Homes.
-
Identify and securing relevant training to help staff handle challenging situations, such as bereavement awareness.
-
Overseeing the multidisciplinary team in conjunction with the Clinical Leads, psychologists, physiotherapists, coaches, counsellors and support staff.
-
Monitoring and reporting service progress to senior leadership and partners.
Claire’s expertise in project management and health coaching was essential to the success of this initiative, and I would happily re-recruit her to lead on the delivery of other health and wellbeing initiatives in the future.

“We have been thrilled to be working with Claire at CK Wellbeing.
Our 10 Week employee programme was designed and delivered to meet the needs of our business and our team at a time of considerable change within the organisation.
Weekly sessions have been successful in achieving positive changes in individuals’ activity, their approach to nutrition and has encouraged openness about stress and mental health, which is something we have been championing across the organisation.
The programme has been incredibly effective in supporting and engaging our top talent at a time of transition for us and a model that we hope to roll out across the organisation.”
“We approached CK Wellbeing following the recommendations to provide back care for a group of staff prone to experiencing back problems due to their type of work from an ergonomic report from a Specialist Physiotherapist who observed their practice.

Claire listened to the needs for our staff and devised a plan of support taking into consideration the differences in their job role, age and fitness ability. She has provided face to face group exercises with our staff-engaging them to develop core strength to prevent back injury. This also included demonstrating simple exercises that can be performed whilst sitting in a chair so avoiding sitting for long periods without activity. Lastly each session was completed with a period of relaxation. Claire also provided detailed written information for staff to take away after the sessions to support the exercises and learning. Staff have really enjoyed each of the sessions, finding Claire very approachable and pleasant and giving her very positive feedback. They regularly ask when the next session will be.

When making follow up arrangements with CK Wellbeing Claire is always very flexible with dates and attending our workplace to provide the group work making it easier for all staff to attend. Claire has continued to reach out and offer online support through the COVID 19 pandemic which has been most useful.

We appreciate highly and value the support Claire has provided our team and look forward to continuing working with her.”

“Claire has an amazing ability to help guide people towards making healthy improvements to their lives. As a founder of a small startup, often spending weeks at a time on the road, I had somewhat failed to notice the day-to-day toll this puts on the mind and body!
During an initial session, Claire was able to draw out of me just how stressed I was; and then laid out a path to how this could change. Additionally, and to my astonishment, Claire managed to get me to try a breathing exercise without my brain wandering to the day's agenda.
Within a few weeks of working with Claire, I was less stressed, able to concentrate better and importantly I felt much more relaxed.
Claire's method of mixing cardio, yoga and breathing exercises were tremendously effective!”
“As a busy director of a sports event company, I know how important it is to be active and for me personally to maintain a certain level of fitness for myself.

The demands of running a company, coupled with a sporting injury have meant that my own health and fitness had been neglected for some time.

I needed to get back on track with my training, with the aim of reaching a level of fitness to return to racing, so I got in touch with CK Wellbeing.

Sessions with Claire are always varied and challenging and help me to get the most out of the limited time that I have available to invest in myself.

Claire is flexible in her approach to training and continually challenges me with new exercises for strength and conditioning to support the higher intensity exercise.

I have seen a vast improvement in my fitness levels and flexibility over a number of regular sessions with Claire and I am making good progress to getting ‘race fit’ for the New Year.”

Agent to Alistair & Jonathan Brownlee,
“I have worked with Claire on planning and delivery of events for the Brownlee Foundation over the last two years. Claire has demonstrated a passion for what she does and has an energy and enthusiasm that gives me every confidence that the projects she is involved with will be delivered to the highest standards.

Claire is a resourceful, creative and a solution-oriented individual, who frequently comes up with new and innovative approaches to engage young people in physical activity and events.

Claire has earned a reputation for her organisation skills, attention to detail and a can-do attitude that gets the job done.

Working on behalf of Elite athletes, I needed someone to deliver a professional, successful series of events that would enhance the brand and support the growth and further engagement of Foundation activities. It was without hesitation that I asked Claire to support the planning and delivery of events for the Brownlee Foundation.

Her professional, positive attitude and personable style means she has the ability to build strong positive relationships with everyone involved with the project and engage the right people to make it a success.

It has always been a pleasure to work with Claire. I would highly recommend anyone wishing to work with her and would not hesitate to work with her again in the future.”
"Claire has an excellent knowledge of the subject matter and a delivery style that engaged with my whole team.

Stress is a big problem in our field of work and particularly with senior managers. The workshop was informative at the right level, with practical exercises, participation and resources for people to take away and apply to their own personal lives. Feedback from my management team was excellent.
They were incredibly impressed with the content and the self-discovery processes to identify, manage and prevent stress. Many found solutions or techniques that they would be applying to their own personal lives.

I would not hesitate in recommending any company to invest in Claire and her corporate programmes. I am confident that my team and indeed the business will benefit from these sessions, and I would most certainly work with Claire and CK Wellbeing again in the future.

Through the practical exercises during the session, people were able to identify their own stress levels, triggers and physiological experiences and given practical solutions to overcome problems."
